These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Student", "you", or "your") and Lingua Learn Australia, trading as Saladiate ("we", "us", or "our"), with its registered address at 25 Village Drive, Dingley Village, Melbourne, Victoria 3172, Australia. By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using our website and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you are enrolling a minor under the age of eighteen, the parent or legal guardian accepting these Terms assumes responsibility on the minor's behalf.
Saladiate provides live, instructor-led online language courses delivered via video conferencing. Our offerings include private one-on-one lessons, small-group sessions of up to six participants, corporate language-training programs, and exam-preparation coaching. All instruction is conducted in real time by qualified, native-speaking or near-native tutors. Supplementary learning materials — including worksheets, audio recordings, and vocabulary lists — may be provided through your student dashboard as part of your enrolment.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund for lessons already delivered.
To book and attend lessons, you must register for a student account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, you must notify us immediately at contact@saladiate.com. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to secure your account credentials.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or behaved in a manner that is disruptive, abusive, or harmful to our staff or other students.
Lessons are scheduled through your student dashboard or by arrangement with our support team. Once a lesson is confirmed, a calendar invitation and video-conferencing link are sent to the email address associated with your account. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a suitable device to participate.
You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed lesson free of charge provided you give at least twelve (12) hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than twelve hours' notice will be treated as a completed lesson, and the session credit will be deducted from your package.
If a tutor is unable to attend a scheduled lesson due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer you a replacement session at a mutually convenient time or assign a substitute instructor of comparable qualification.
If you join a lesson more than fifteen minutes after the scheduled start time without prior notice, the tutor may end the session. The lesson will still count as delivered. If neither the student nor the tutor connects within fifteen minutes, the session is considered cancelled by mutual absence and will be rescheduled at no cost.
Course fees are displayed on our website and are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST where applicable. Payment is due at the time of enrolment or package purchase. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers processed through our secure payment gateway.
All prices are subject to change. Any price adjustment will not affect packages or lessons already purchased.
All content made available through our website and services — including but not limited to lesson materials, course curricula, worksheets, audio files, video recordings, branding, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of Lingua Learn Australia or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use these materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written consent. Unauthorised use may result in account termination and legal action.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingua Learn Australia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of business. Our total aggregate liability for any claim connected to the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lingua Learn Australia, its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after amendments are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our website.
